Duties + Achievements

Led front end development on 1Site for Coles Account and Coles Plus .

Delivered significant strategic projects:

  • Coles Plus account (Q4/21)
  • Edit Payment and Trolley messaging (Q1-Q3/22)
  • Early Access Windows (Q4/22)
  • Single Click Sign Up (Q1-Q2/23)

All delivered on schedule with minimal defects.

In addition to hands-on development, I was responsible for technical scoping and solution design, code review and mentoring, release management. Also documented features, releases and back end APIs.

Decomposed and delegated work to engineers.

Introduced improvements to the Coles engineering community including:

  • Chromatic for automated visual regression testing
  • Zettelkasten note-taking system, improving developer productivity
  • ChatGPT bash script generation, boosting productivity
  • Structured logging, allowing detailed, fine-grained querying of logs, to measure application performance, feature uptake, business impact and detect anomalies
